I thoroughly enjoy using traditional methods and materials to upholster a cherished piece!

Depending on your budget or comfort preferences I can employ a variety of materials for stuffing layers (examples you could choose from are treated coconut hair (coir fibre),  or a 50/50  “cattlemix” of animal hair or 100% Horsetail). As you might expect, employing traditional methods is more labour and materials intensive than using modern materials like foam & staples, however the long-term benefits and sustainability issues can make traditional upholstery of your antique furniture an attractive option in terms of  getting longevity and true value-for -money.

As an aside, I like to keep you as pictorially updated as much as possible so you can really see (as well as eventually feel) what has happened underneath the top cover when your furniture returns to you.
