This chair is conceived with love in the heart of a star of British upholstered furniture.

This fine example of mid-century modern furniture was originally produced by Oxer London Ltd. This chair has been completely stripped naked and then restored and reupholstered from the frame upwards. The beautiful show-wood on the arms and legs has been expertly stripped and re-stained in a custom spirit-based wood stain, before refinishing with sanding sealer and layers of beeswax which has been applied and polished up to reveal the authentic, rich and deep characteristics of the woodgrain. Finally covered in the luxurious black velvet variant of my most popular Magic Monkey print design, in which the cream velvet variant was first featured in the popular BBC TV show "Money for Nothing". This piece of furniture art is genuinely one-of-its-kind! All fillings and top covering fabric comply with all UK health, safety & Fire Regulations for domestic furniture.
